Audition pubblica "Donne ed ICT" - Parlamento Europeo

Il Comitato ITRE (Industry, Research and Energy) del Parlamento Europeo organizza un'audition pubblica su "Donne e ICT", che si terrà il 25 Aprile 2013 a Bruxelles. L'evento è organizzato in collaborazione con il Comitato del Parlamento Europeo per i diritti delle donne e l'uguaglianza di genere. L'audizione sarà introdotta dalla Presidente di ITRE Ms. Amalia Sartori e gli altri interventi di apertura saranno di Mr. Hamadoun Tourè, Secretary-General, International Telecomunication Union (ITU) e di Ms. Neelie Kroes, Vice-President of the European Commission. Gianna Martinengo è stata invitata ad intervenire sul tema del primo panel "Donne e carriere ICT: come esplorare il talento femminile". Il titolo della sua presentazione sarà "Smart people for Smart cities".

The committee on Industry, Research and Energy (ITRE) of the European Parliament organizes a public hearing on "Women and ICT" on April 25^th, 2013 in Brussels. The hearing is organized in collaboration with the EP Committee on Women's Rights and Gender Equality. The hearing will be opened by the ITRE Chair Ms. Amalia Sartori and the other speeches will be delivered by Mr. Hamadoun Tourè, Secretary- General, International Telecomunication Union (ITU) and Ms. Neelie Kroes, Vice-President of the European Commission. Gianna Martinengo has been invited to give a presentation and to participate in a follow-up discussion with the rest of the panellists and the Members of the European Parliament. Her contribution will focus on women in ICT careers and how to explore female talent. The title of her presentation will be "Smart people for Smart cities".
